1. Dagon Magazine, Portugal: 1st issue is out, featuring that livid story, Cinderers. Here’s some more information, including an interview with the editor.
2. The Apex Book of World SF - featuring that vivid story, Cinderers - is now available as an iPhone application.
Lavie just published free online PDF versions of four stories which were included in The Apex Book of World SF anthology, which he edited. One of them is my very own Cinderers. Here they are.
(Direct link to the Cinderers PDF: here.)
My story, The Believers, now available online in ChiZine. Don't click if you're too Jewish…
…about, well, some not-so-very-nice stories by myself.
This handsome guy calls "Cinderers", which appeared in The Apex Book of World SF, "the collection’s most disturbing story by far". I adore you, sire!
This excellent person calls "A Painter, a Ship and a Boa Constrictor", which appeared in Shimmer early in the year, "my favorite story in 2009". I love you, sire!
And last (for now) but not least, it seems that "Cinderers" will soon appear in a new Portuguese magazine, yessir, and may I have your hand in marriage?
It has just been announced that my story, "A Painter, a Sheep and a Boa Constrictor", originally published in Shimmer, will be included in The Year’s Best Science Fiction and Fantasy, 2010 Edition.
Am I happy? You betcha!
Well, no, of course not. But my story, "Benjamin Schneider’s Little Greys", is up for the Apex Magazine Story of the Year Award, and YOU can vote for it.
(Little known fact: you can vote for one of the other stories too. And may the best story, or at least the sexiest author, win.)
Every vote counts!
Just got my contributor’s copy of The Apex Book of World SF. What a lovely thing!
(For the Hebrew readers, here’s a sample of my contribution to this anthology, Cinderers)
I was interviewed, some time ago, by Charles Tan of SF Signal. Today that interview was published. Here it is.
And, again, check out the Apex Book of World SF!
The Apex Book of World SF (ed. Lavie Tidhar) just came out, featuring a story of mine, Cinderers. Celebrating that, there’s a special issue of Apex Magazine featuring some of the anthology participants, including myself. So now you can read online another story of mine, Benjamin Schneider’s Little Greys.
Cheers, mates!
